In line for 3g version of ipad

Interesting while in line they came by to let people know that onecan only be purchased with a credit card.

For some kind of security reason perhaps due to resale issues.

I quized the sales associate what would happen if I pulled out cash and wanted ti pay that way since there is no contract but maybe there is sone kind of one with iTunes. I thought legal tender issues might cause a problem but apparently Apple somehow has there bases covered or do they?

Can apple contract law overcome federal laws of legal tender?
