Mars single exposure from canon t1i

Processed lightly with a cheap iPhone image processing application called Picoli.

Brought up saturation, sharpness and brightness a bit. Otherwise no image processing.

This was taken last month through the c14 with a 15mm eyepiece and eyepiece projection.

It was clear out tonight, but die to the cold weather I stayed inside and didn't open ip HJRO.

Focus on imaging at HJRO

The observatory will be open by Tim C and Tim D. Crhey will focus on using cameras to image objects.

I may setup additional telescopes outside while there.

Visitors are always welcome but we may cut back on shoeing stuff visually, while imaging,

Will be at the observatory for a couple hours starting at apx 10pm

Will be at HJRO at about 10pm for some observing. It's cold out so it's difficult to say how long I'll be out there. I'm at chicken shack in Lincoln park eating before I open up.

Saw a meteor while driving to White Castle tonight/this morning at 1:23am

Saw a Meteor traveling maybe 20 degrees while driving. This was visible through my windshield while I was driving in the city.

The sky is mostly clear at this time in Lincoln Park, but there are some clouds on all horizons.

It's cold outside, but I'm going to run out to look up a little with my binoculars from my house. I'm not going to go by the observatory at this late time, with the clouds being as they are tonight and the cold. Maybe we will have warmer weather and clear skies Monday.
