Here is an early slide show sample using a photo of M42 through the C14. Taken with a Canon T1i EOS camera around 2009.
Slide prepared on an Ipad. This is a pretty basic single exposure of M42. There are many photos that are better that are out there. Some are taken with dedicated astrophotography cameras that don't have a color filter which this camera has. Some image processors spend many hours processing photos of M42 bringing out far more detail than you can see in this photo.
