Once in a while I mention my blog and offer to take a photo to show how I can post a photo on the observing blog from my iPhone.
I need to perhaps get into a good habit of offering to take photos of visitors and posting them here. This will allow them to get a photo and keep those of you who read this blog updated.
We also have not really pursued the habit of having people sign in the visitor log. Having a light on in the observatory and a place for people to sign in is to inconvenient and hinders viewing and those who are viewing. As we don't have a program and people just show up, we don't have a preset time to request that people would sign in. Maybe we will add a sign in table in the future or offer something like that, to keep better counts of those who show up.
