Asteroid occultation tonight

An asteroid will move in from of a star and cause it to be dimmed tonight.

This happens at 3:30 in the morning and at 15 degrees above the horizon.

Because that's a bit late and the c 14 may not be able to look that low on the horizon due to the height of the wall I don't plan on being at the observatory for this event.

Also this is a dimming of a magnetude 9 star down to 14 for a few seconds. It's not a group viewing type of event but something for an astronomer with his own telescope.
